Adopt a Boxer (short coat)

Boxer (short coat) Dog

Hatchi the Dog needs a home

When Hatchi first came to the rescue he was anxious and a wild and crazy boy. He has made strides in being crated, although he would prefer to be with his people instead of a crate for long hours. Hatchi lives with a female boxer now and has lived with both big and small dogs in the past. Hatchi will need training to help him over his barrier "aggression" -- he tries very hard to get out of the door or gates if he feels his person his leaving him behind. Here are some comments from her current family --
Hatchi is the cuddliest dog and likes very much to sleep at the foot of your bed, and to sit on your lap, give a million kisses (very wet kisses), and play toys ALL DAY LONG. He knows how to sit, and is a really good fetcher. Hatchi HATES being in a house if he knows his owner is outside of the house. He did damage to the wood around my sliding door due to biting and clawing it. Hatchi really hates lawn mowers, or weed eaters, and will endanger himself or the person mowing by biting the object. Hatchi is a good eater and loves treats. Hatchi was starting to be a really good boy about walking on a regular leash. Hatchi likes to eat dog beds or pads, but will leave blankets alone, so I went to that for his comfort in his kennel. And finally…Hatchi loves to be loved. He just wants someone to be his best buddy. He wants hugs, kisses, pets and attention. Isn’t that why we have a dog? Please note: Hatchi has the most velvety soft head of any dog I have ever pet, and I have pet a lot.
